Location: Broad Street High Street, Reading, RG1Contract Duration: 1-2 weeksProject: Site cleanliness and supportJob summaryTime Recruitment are seeking a reliable and physically fit Labourer to assist with site cleanliness and general duties at a Reading store. The successful candidate will work as part of a team to ensure a clean, tidy, and safe working environment during the project.Key responsibilities
  • Clear and prepare the site for work, including removing debris and unused materials.
  • Help load and unload materials and equipment from delivery vehicles.
  • Maintain general site tidiness throughout the day.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations and report any hazards to the site supervisor.
  • Assist tradespeople with tasks as directed.
  • Carry out basic manual tasks, such as lifting and carrying materials.
  • Assist with the setup and dismantling of temporary structures if required.
Requirements
  • Mandatory PPE: Must have and wear a hard hat, safety boots, and hi-viz clothing at all times on-site.
  • Compliance: You must complete the necessary Simple Compliance training before starting on-site. Further details will be provided.
  • Physical Fitness: Ability to carry out strenuous physical tasks, lift heavy loads, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Reliability: Punctual and dependable with a strong work ethic.
  • Teamwork: Able to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions from supervisors.
  • Communication: Basic communication skills to understand and follow spoken and written instructions.
