Role OverviewWe are currently recruiting multiple skilled Joiners for a long-term position based in Newtownabbey. This opportunity involves working on a variety of ongoing construction and refurbishment projects across residential and commercial settings.Joiners will be required to carry out both first and second fix joinery, kitchen fitting, internal finishing, and related carpentry tasks. The successful candidates will be team-oriented, reliable, and committed to delivering quality workmanship.Key ResponsibilitiesFirst and second fix joineryFitting kitchens, doors, skirting, architraves, and other woodworkReading and interpreting construction drawingsWorking to deadlines while maintaining attention to detailEnsuring health & safety standards are followed at all timesRepresenting the company positively on-siteEssential CriteriaMinimum 3 years' experience as a JoinerTrade qualification in Carpentry & Joinery (NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent)Valid CSR/CSCS cardGood knowledge of tools, materials, and construction processesStrong communication skills and a proactive attitudeDesirable CriteriaPrevious experience in social housing or maintenance contractsFull driving licence and access to transportAdditional certifications (IPAF, PASMA, etc.)For further information on this vacancy, or any other Built Environment job in Belfast or wider Northern Ireland, please apply via the link below or contact Glenn Roberts in the strictest confidence.
