This is an exciting opportunity to combine your leadership, operational, and swimming expertise in a supportive, health-focused environment.This is a blended position with responsibility for both duty management across the centre and the development and delivery of our swimming programme. You’ll work across departments to ensure the day-to-day running of the centre is smooth and safe, while also leading our swim offering to inspire people of all ages to develop life-saving skills and confidence in the water.Key ResponsibilitiesAs Swim Manager, you will:Manage the swim school programme, ensuring the highest standards of teaching and safetySupport, motivate, and manage the team of swim teachers, driving engagement and developmentDeliver and exceed commercial targets by growing participation, improving retention, and managing budgetsEnsure all teaching is in line with ASA/STA standards and deliver training where requiredAs Duty Manager, you will:Support the day-to-day operations of the centre, ensuring a safe, clean and welcoming environment for all membersLead by example, delivering exceptional customer service and encouraging the same from your teamSupport team performance and play a key role in achieving sales, service, and operational KPIsAct as a keyholder, responsible for opening/closing the facility and overseeing shift activitiesWhat We’re Looking ForA current and valid Lifeguard qualification (essential)A Level 2 Swim Teacher qualification (ASA or STA) is desirableExperience managing a team or swim programmes is a plusStrong communication and organisational skillsA proactive, safety-first mindset and passion for delivering great member experiencesConfidence to lead by example and motivate others in a fast-paced environmentCommercial awareness and ability to support business performanceHelping you feel good.We want you to love coming to work, feeling healthy, happy and valued.
