Job Overview
  • The role as Supervisor you will act as the stakeholder interface on site to the delivery of all Mitie contractual outputs and manage Supply Chain to ensure that all statutory, mandatory and reactive performance indicators are consistently achieved within area of responsibility. Delivery of small value additional works - Manage projects from conception through to completion and handover to the client.
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Ensure timely, compliant delivery of maintenance and response works, meeting MoD and H&S standards.
  • Oversee Supply Chain teams, ensuring qualified operatives, proper equipment and consistent performance.
  • Review and coordinate Risk Assessments and Method Statements; maintain accurate Maximo records.
  • Monitor site risks, report defects, and ensure compliance with JSP 375 and Mobile AP procedures.
  • Maintain compliance with the Asbestos register and act as Responsible Person when required.
  • Ensure Legionella controls are followed and take on Responsible Person duties if needed.
  • Act as SPOC for end users, resolving issues and advising on estate activities in line with HoE priorities.
  • Support development of new work requests, handle complaints and assist Helpdesk with technical advice.
  • Promote a safety culture, manage costs, and support risk mitigation and contract performance.
  • Contribute to ESTS and FASP planning, ensuring efficient and economical operations.
What we are looking for
  • Strong Trade background within electrical or mechanical environments.
  • Efficient communication skills with all parties.
  • Proven management of the operational delivery of Estate Management tasks
  • Ability to manage the supervising site operations
  • Planning, directing and controlling site activities
  • Ability to solve problems and make decisions
  • Desirable - HNC, or equivalent, level qualification in a Building/Civil Engineering or Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Desirable - Management level qualification in H&S and Environment (e.g. SMSTS)
