- Develop and implement a proactive sales strategy to maximise meetings, events, and group business across the cluster.
- Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with key corporate accounts, agencies, and event organisers.
- Conduct regular client meetings, sales calls, and hotel site inspections to secure new business and grow repeat accounts.
- Work with revenue management to optimise pricing, availability, and packages for MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Events) business.
- Analyse competitor activity and market trends to position the hotels competitively.
- Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of meetings, conferences, and events across cluster properties.
- Ensure seamless communication between clients and operational teams for successful event delivery.
- Support hotels with proposals, contracts, and tailored event packages to meet client needs.
- Ensure post-event follow-up and feedback collection to strengthen client relationships.
- Deliver budgeted revenue and profit targets for meetings, events, and group sales.
- Prepare monthly sales forecasts, pipelines, and performance reports for review with the Cluster General Manager.
- Monitor and control departmental expenses in line with budget guidelines.
- Work with finance to ensure accurate billing and credit control for events.
- Lead, motivate, and develop the meetings & events sales team (if applicable).
- Foster a collaborative relationship with the cluster's operational, F&B, revenue, and reservations teams.
- Represent the cluster hotels at trade shows, networking events, and industry forums.
- Uphold company brand standards and deliver a consistent guest experience across all cluster properties.
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven track record in hotel sales, preferably in a cluster or multi-property role.
- Strong knowledge of MICE sales and event management.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strong financial and analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive performance.
- Ability to lead, inspire, and manage a team across multiple properties.
- Highly organised, results-driven, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
