CNC Setter Operator

- Set up, operate, and maintain CNC machines, including Heidenhain and Mazak systems
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions
- Program CNC machines using G-code and other relevant programming languages
- Perform first article inspections and ensure product quality meets specifications
- Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain optimal operation
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshoot machine issues as needed
- Verify dimensions of machined parts using precision measuring instruments
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve manufacturing processes
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment
- Train and mentor junior operators on machine operation and best practices
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity
- Maintain accurate records of production activities and machine performance
- Proven experience as a CNC Setter & Operator, with a minimum of 3-5 years in a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in operating Heidenhain and Mazak CNC systems
- Experience with various fabrication techniques and processes
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
