We're a young, vibrant company that constantly develops and strives to be the best at what we do.Job Overview:The GAS Delivery Driver is an integral member of the GAS Logistics Team. This role involves physically handling and transporting specialist photographic equipment, primarily in London, with occasional longer trips. Shift patterns include a 9-hour shift between 7 a.m. and 9 p.m., with weekends on a rota between all drivers. This requires flexibility and a commitment to impeccable punctuality.Reports to: Logistics ManagersKey Responsibilities:
  • Deliver and collect GAS equipment efficiently within scheduled time frames, adhering to shift patterns.
  • Maintain regular, effective communication with the on-shift Logistics Manager.
  • Follow strict loading/unloading plans, ensuring safe transport of equipment.
  • Act responsibly as a key holder, safeguarding equipment during transit.
  • Demonstrate impeccable punctuality, understanding the time-sensitive nature of the industry.
  • Adhere to safety protocols during equipment handling and transportation.
  • Be flexible for paid overtime, adapting to the company's dynamic needs.
  • Conduct additional tasks as needed, including fleet and warehouse responsibilities.
  • Efficiently manage sub-hired items to prevent unnecessary charges.
  • Use a PDA to obtain client signatures and confirm deliveries.

Salary:
  • £26,000 rising to £27,500 after a successful probation period
