- Define the product vision through understanding the needs of our customers and create products which deliver new business goals and delightful customer experiences
- Drive innovation by staying abreast of industry trends, changes in the regulatory environment, emerging technologies, and competitor products.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs and changing competitive landscape to drive continuous innovation and product improvement
- Develop product proposals that differentiate AJ Bell, provide value to customers, and enhance our product offering
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams through the product development lifecycle from ideation to launch to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of the range of products. Analyse data and metrics to make informed decisions and optimise product performance
- Create and maintain product roadmaps and backlogs, prioritising features based on business goals, customer feedback and regulatory requirements
- Ensure the D2C products comply with FCA regulations and industry standards, in particular, regarding the Consumer Duty. Work closely with compliance, technical and legal teams to mitigate risks and maintain trust with customers'
- Manage products in line with the AJ Bell Product governance framework
- Lead and mentor a team of product mangers through fostering a culture of collaboration to encourage creativity and high performance
- Financial services knowledge preferably with an investment business
- Proven experience in product management within financial services
- Educated to degree level or equivalent.
- Detailed knowledge of the FCA regulatory framework
- Strong strategic thinking and decision-making abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to understand and advocate for customer needs and experiences
