Our consulting team combines deep domain expertise in ETRM/CTRM systems with a sharp focus on energy markets - especially electricity, flexibility services, and multi-commodity trading (including gas, water, coal)As Partner - Energy Trading Consulting for Europe, you will lead the growth of our ETRM/CTRM consulting business across key European clients. This includes developing propositions, executing strategy, and managing client relationships at the C-suite and -1 levels. You will work closely with our India Consulting Hub and Strategic Market Units (SMUs) to embed Wipro's capabilities into the core of our clients' trading operationsCore Focus Areas
  • Electricity and Flexibility Markets: Deliver consulting services focused on electricity trading, capacity mechanisms, flexibility (e.g., Demand Response, VPPs, frequency response).
  • ETRM/CTRM Platforms: Good understanding of solutions like Endur, Allegro, EnTrader, and bespoke platforms integrated into trading life cycles.
  • Trading Life Cycle Integration: Advisory and delivery support across front-to-back trade processes, including deal capture, risk management, nominations, settlements, and reporting.
  • Ecosystem Integration: Align ETRM/CTRM platforms with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle), grid interfaces, market platforms (EPEX, NGESO), and data analytics layers.
  • Thought Leadership: Contribute to and evangelize Wipro's “Fields of Play” in Energy Trading across the UKI and Europe, shaping industry conversations on decarbonisation, digitalisation, and decentralisation.
  • Practice Build and Development: Ability to hire, mentor, build, and grow high-performing consulting teams focused on energy trading.

  • Proven track record in building and scaling ETRM/CTRM consulting practices in the energy sector.
  • Ability to shape go-to-market propositions, win large-scale transformation programs, and deliver measurable outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage a network of senior leaders across utilities and trading desks working closely with Wipro's SMUs
Client Engagement & Delivery
  • Extensive experience delivering transformation programmes across large software engineering/SI programmes, multiple commodities, with strong preference for electricity and flexibility.
  • Skilled in managing large consulting engagements including solution architecture, roadmap definition, and programme execution.
  • Experience with multi-shore delivery models and distributed trading operations
Industry & Platform Expertise
  • Domain knowledge of energy trading market structures, balancing mechanisms, PPA structuring, carbon trading, and market coupling. Understanding of energy trading and commodity risk management, particularly in electricity and flexibility.
  • Good functional understanding of leading ETRM/CTRM platforms and their integration with analytics, risk engines, and data lakes. Familiarity with platforms such as (any one):
  • Openlink Endur
  • Allegro Horizon
  • EnTrader (Energy One)
  • Brady ETRM
  • Good understanding of ISO, EMS/SCADA interfaces, and trading regulatory compliance (REMIT, EMIR, MiFID II).
  • Familiarity with trading regulations (REMIT, EMIR, MiFID II) and balancing services (e.g., DSBR, FFR, Dynamic Containment).
Delivery & Transformation Execution
  • Proven experience delivering large-scale transformation programmes, including platform replacement, cloud migration, and trading TOM redesign.
  • Hands-on leadership across multi-disciplinary and multi-shore delivery teams.
  • Deep appreciation of data architectures, integration layers, and API-driven trading environments
Leadership & Collaboration
  • Outstanding communicator and relationship builder with executive presence.
  • Ability to mentor, build, and grow high-performing consulting teams focused on energy trading innovation.
  • Orchestrate and foster collaboration across consulting, technology, talent acquisition, HR and operations groups within Wipro
Innovation & Thought Leadership
  • A creative thinker with a strong POV on the future of energy markets and flexibility services.
  • Ability to author publications, whitepapers, or blogs on ETRM modernisation, algorithmic trading, or DER monetization.
  • Comfortable leading analyst interactions, roundtables, and public speaking engagements.
