This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic practitioner who is determined to raise attainment and broaden opportunities through high-quality science education.About the Role:Deliver engaging and challenging Science lessons that inspire students across all key stages.Set high expectations for achievement and progress, ensuring all pupils are motivated and supported to reach their potential.Plan and teach well-structured lessons that embed knowledge, develop skills, and address misconceptions.Nurture intellectual curiosity by asking thoughtful questions and encouraging exploration of scientific ideas.Provide constructive feedback that helps students make measurable improvements.Contribute to curriculum planning, assessment design, and exam preparation.Play an active role in enrichment, including clubs, competitions, trips, and whole-school events.Share best practice within the department and actively participate in CPD and network-wide collaboration.What We’re Looking For:Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and eligibility to work in the UK.A degree in Science or a closely related discipline.Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Science.Evidence of excellent teaching practice and a commitment to raising attainment.Experience of supporting students through curriculum and examination preparation.Effective classroom and behaviour management skills.A reflective, proactive approach to professional development.A genuine passion for education and belief in the potential of every student.
