This is a fantastic chance to contribute to a company committed to excellence and growthDaily duties are likely to involve:-
Using ERP system to review buyer workbench daily and create part numbers
Raising, maintaining and expediting Purchase Orders daily (stock and non-stock) as necessary
Prepare pricing quotes
Maintain relationships with internal staff and suppliers
Reviewing stocking levels, price lists etc on ERP system
Notify and mitigate cost increases where possible
Prepare and review suppliers KPI’s to improve delivery performance and stock valuation / availability.
Reviewing and maintaining departmental training resources
In return, what we need from you:-
Be available immediately or at 1 weeks notice as this is an immediate position, subject to interview.
Have a confident approach with the ability to converse at all levels
Previous experience of working within a purchasing administration role would be ideal but at least must be able to demonstrate a strong admin background or have studied CIPS.
Good knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook.
Due to the nature of the contract you must be able to pick things up quickly
