Full-Time Role, Start ASAP, Until End of Academic YearConnex Education are working with an Ofsted “Good” secondary school in Birmingham, who are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of Science to join their team on a full time and part time basis. The Part time role is 3 days per week.Both Science teaching positions start as soon as possible and continuing until the end of the academic year. The successful candidates will be teaching general Science across KS3 and KS4, supporting pupils’ progress and fostering a love for the subject.We welcome applications from:Qualified Teachers of Science (QTS or QTLS).Early Career Teachers (ECTs).Experienced unqualified Science teachers with recent UK secondary school experience.Key Responsibilities:Planning and delivering engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4.Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.Differentiating lessons to meet a variety of learning needs.Monitoring, assessing, and reporting on student progress.Requirements:Recent experience teaching Science in UK secondary schools.Strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management.A commitment to raising achievement and inspiring learners.Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).What’s on Offer:Competitive, to-scale pay rates (dependent on experience).Full-time role until the end of the academic year.Ongoing support from a dedicated Connex consultant.Access to free CPD and professional development.To apply or find out more, contact Claire at Connex on 0121 456 4040 or email .
