With empathy, professionalism, and problem-solving skills, you’ll support them through what can often be a difficult time. Building rapport comes naturally, and you’re adaptable in every situation.To succeed in this role, you’ll need:Previous experience in a technical claims handling roleStrong knowledge of building defect diagnosis, construction, HSE & CDM regulationsExcellent communication and negotiation skillsHigh attention to detail and the ability to challenge and validate scopesCert CII or Cert CILA (advantageous but not essential)What You’ll Be DoingManaging a portfolio of commercial property claims within delegated authorityValidating and assessing insurers’ liability for claims up to £50KBuilding accurate scopes for commercial building repairs, ensuring CDM complianceIdentifying fraud/recovery opportunities and delivering accurate declinature decisionsCollaborating with insurers, brokers, loss adjusters, suppliers, and customersProviding
