Salary: £65,000 to £75,000 (dependent on experience)
Hours: 40 hours per week - flexible working hours core hours Monday to Friday 9:30am to 3:00pm

- Lead EC&I Engineer works with all departments to ensure safe operation and maintenance of plant.
- Oversee and lead a team of electrical, control, and instrument engineers, ensuring optimal performance and professional development.
- Handle all aspects of team management, including, recruitment, conducting appraisals, managing annual leave, and ensuring the well-being and professional growth of team members
- Working with the senior engineers, the Lead EC&I Engineer provides technical leadership in electrical, control and instrumentation disciplines.
- Manage time and allocate EC&I engineering resource to business functions including; operational support, maintenance support, and projects
- Develop and maintain site standards and policies to ensure compliance with COMAH regulations and other relevant safety standards.
- Lead EC&I Engineer has overall responsible person for functional safety and drive business practices to ensure compliance with the relevant standards (IEC 61508 & 61511).
- Overall responsible person for compliance with electrical regulations and standards including LV & HV safety, ATEX and LOTO.
- Overall responsible person OT cyber security, ensuring compliance and best practice to relevant standards (OG0086 & IEC 62443)
- Prepare and manage departmental budgets, forecast requirements, and analyse variances to ensure financial objectives are met.
- Provide input to capital expenditure plans (CAPEX) with recommendations for compliance improvements, system upgrades and obsolescence.
- Lead, approve and contribute to technical designs and commissioning activities.
