- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the construction materials testing market in the UK
- Develop relationships with key decision makers in the construction industry, including contractors and consultants
- Negotiate and close deals with new clients
- Help develop and implement a sales and marketing strategy to drive business growth
- Attend industry events and trade shows to network and promote our services
- Work closely with the operational team to ensure that our services meet the needs of our clients
- Monitor industry trends and stay up-to-date on new technologies and materials in the construction industry
- Account management
- Excellent working knowledge of construction materials testing to include field and laboratory testing to UKAS standards
- Technical understanding of soils, aggregate, concrete and asphalt testing
- A minimum of 5 years' experience working in a customer focused or direct sales role preferably in the TIC market
