This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a team that is committed to upholding the rights and safety of vulnerable adults. You will be working in a supportive, forward-thinking environment, helping shape effective safeguarding practices across a diverse borough.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver a high-quality social work service focused on safeguarding adults at risk.Lead and conduct Section 42 enquiries, ensuring compliance with the Care Act 2014.Participate in Strategy Meetings and Case Conferences, collaborating with multi-agency partners.Develop and implement Protection Plans that promote safety, independence, and wellbeing.Carry out assessments and reviews in a variety of settings, including homes, hospitals, and care facilities.Provide duty cover one day per week to address urgent safeguarding concerns and ensure responsive interventions.Promote and uphold the principles of the Mental Capacity Act and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS).Ideal Candidate ProfileQualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration.Proven experience in adult safeguarding, risk assessment, and multi-agency working.Sound knowledge of the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, and DoLS legislation.Excellent communication, analysis, and documentation skills.Ability to manage a complex caseload with autonomy and confidence.Benefits & Perks£32.00 hourly rate – competitive and reflective of your expertise.Full-time hours in a locum capacity, giving you both stability and flexibility.Opportunity to develop local expertise in Harrow’s diverse and dynamic social care landscape.Be part of a collaborative and experienced safeguarding team committed to best practice.Enhance your professional network and career portfolio through varied and impactful work.Why Harrow?Harrow offers the perfect blend of city accessibility and suburban charm.
