Science TeacherLocation : FromePay: £31,650 - £49,084SeptemberI am looking for a qualified Science teacher for a secondary school based in Frome. The role offers an opportunity to be part of an ambitious and driven community. The school is looking for a Science teacher with a specialism in any subject.The role starts in September and is a fantastic opportunity for a Science teacher with strong subject knowledge of the curriculum. Confidence in the ability to support students in making academic progress and being able to support their learning journey is a must. The school offers a collaborative environment for teachers and the opportunity to further your continuous professional development.Responsibilities :
  • Plan and deliver Science lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Lead and support extracurricular activities
  • Foster a safe and inclusive environment for physical learning.
  • Monitor student progress and adapt lesson plans accordingly
  • Work collaboratively with the Science department and wider staff.
Requirements :
  • QTS and a degree in a Science - related subject
  • Experience teaching in secondary schools
  • Good classroom management and communication skills
  • Strong subject knowledge and lesson delivery skills.
  • Effective classroom and behaviour management
  • Understanding of safeguarding procedures.
