This role is based at our Cirencester office - hybrid working arrangement: 4 days in the office and 1 day remote.We are a global technology solution provider and specialist IT distributor. We represent and work closely with a wide range of market-leading vendors and help them sell and distribute their technology solutions and services to Resellers/ Partners.As an Internal Sales Representative your primary focus will be on developing reseller partnerships and selling products and solutions from top vendors like Cisco. Your key responsibilities will include growing existing accounts, identifying and establishing new accounts, and generating customer quotes.To succeed in this role, you will need enthusiasm and self-motivation to learn about the technology and products, strong interpersonal skills to nurture vendor relationships, and attention to detail to ensure accurate quoting.While previous IT Sales experience is beneficial, we welcome applications from candidates with account management experience in other industry sectors.Your Key Responsibilities Sales
- Identify and establish new customer accounts (e.g. call dormant accounts, obtain warm leads from vendors)
- Maintain and grow business with existing accounts
- Support external sales in managing account administration
- Generate and provide customer quotes for standard/pre-designed solutions
- Consult with customers in selling and supporting vendor products and services
- Provide product presentations and sales training for assigned accounts
- Identify cross selling opportunities within vendor products and services portfolio
- Keep customers up-to-date with product-related information
- Coordinate with training, marketing, business development, and product management to effectively support the customer
- Monitor performance of allocated accounts and identify areas of opportunity
- Prepare for and participate in monthly sales meetings
- Ensure forecasts are submitted in a timely and accurate manner
- Prepare business development plans for strategic accounts
- Maintain and develop own knowledge of vendor product portfolio
- Proven B2B sales and account management experience (any sector)
- A self-starter who can make an immediate impact internally and externally
- Highly competent in negotiation and influencing skills
- A tenacious attitude to achieving results
- Clear, effective interpersonal skills - verbal and listening
- A proficient user of MS Office
- A strong team player who enjoys being part of a successful team
- Sales experience gained within a similar role (IT sector)
