Job Description:Trainee Junior Background Artist: 12 Month Fixed Term, October 2025 - September 2026Job Summary:
Job Title: Trainee Junior Background Artist
Contract Length: 12-month Company Placement, with potential extension.
Start Date: October 2025
Hours: 37.5hrs per week
Salary: Real Living Wage (currently £12.60 per hour)

Requirements of the role will include, but not be limited to:
  • Assist in the design and illustration of background environments based on scripts, storyboards, and layout instructions.
  • Work under the guidance of senior artists and the Art Director to maintain the visual style and consistency of the show.
  • Prepare background roughs and final clean versions ready for production.
  • Receive and implement feedback from the design and production teams.
  • Help maintain file organization and proper naming conventions within the studio pipeline.
