Overview:Are you ready to take on a dynamic role as a Quality Assurance Technician at Dunbia, a leading red meat processor in Preston?Our company is renowned for supplying high-quality beef and lamb to retail, commercial, and foodservice markets worldwide. We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our high-performing and effective operations team, supporting our growth and business development strategy.This position is offered on a fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave, with potential opportunities for a permanent role upon completion of the contract. Responsibilities:The Role:
  • Conduct Quality checks
  • Overseeing Animal Welfare Checks
  • Calibration
  • Water sampling
  • Microbiological sampling
  • Chiller checks
  • Daily GMP audits
Qualifications:Criteria:
  • Previous experience within a food manufacturing environment
  • Highly organization and motivated, with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-moving environment
  • Knowledge of QA systems (desirable)
  • Excellent communications skills both verbal and written
  • Customer Focused
