Job descriptionProspero Teaching currently recruiting enthusiastic educators to join our tuition scheme across Wakefield and surrounding locations.About the Role:Prospero Teaching is proud to work with local authorities, schools, and alternative provisions throughout the Wakefield region, offering 1:1 tuition for students who require additional support outside of mainstream education. Our mission is to provide tailored, engaging, and impactful tuition that supports each learners academic progress and personal development.What We Offer:
  • We offer both face-to-face sessions or online tuition
  • Flexible Hours: Sessions run Monday to Friday between 8am and 4pm – you set the timings that works for you.
  • Wide Age Range: We support learners from Early Years through to Secondary (KS5).
  • Manageable Workload: Whether you’re available for 2 hours or 40 hours per week, we have opportunities to match. Summer tuition work is also available!
Who Were Looking For:
  • Confident tutors with a strong grasp of Maths, English, or Functional Skills
  • Passionate educators who foster a positive, patient, and engaging learning environment
  • Strong communication and lesson planning skills tailored to individual needs
  • Experience working with children in an education setting (minimum 3-6 months)
  • Teaching qualifications are beneficial but not essential
