
Gatehouse Security Officer

- To be able to perform all required patrols noting and reporting any defects found on patrols.
- Must have a full understanding of emergency procedures and the different roles of each position so that they can effectively cover that position.
- Conducting fleet management
- Should understand all critical systems and business critical locations in the building.
- Understand the procedures for all emergencies and should be confident to respond to all emergencies.
- Should understand and action all instructions issued by the duty manager, and site security management or Property Management.
- Be able to communicate effectively both verbally and written.
- Be well versed and confident in the visitor management system and fast fields post management systems. This must include, out of hour signing in procedures for all occupiers and contractors, package collection and drop off.
- The Access officer must be able to understand and action instructions given by the supervisor on shift.
- A valid SIA Licence
- Previous experience in a similar role would be preferred
- Have knowledge of Assignment Instructions (AI's)
- Proven experience in Corporate Security or relevant role (a minimum of 12 months)
- Must be able to work under pressure, be able make decisive decisions during incidents and difficult situations
- Excellent attention to detail and able to respond to issues in an effective efficient manner.
