As well as expert palliative care, we support people with life-limiting conditions, and their families. We work across Airedale, Wharfedale, Craven, and north Bradford.We support people aged 18 and over who are living with life-limiting conditions such as cancer, heart failure and lung disease by combining specialist medical care for managing pain and other symptoms with other emotional, practical and spiritual support.We are able to provide care in our inpatient unit and our CNS team are on hand to visit people and provide care for people in their own home.About the roleSue Ryder Manorlands Hospice is looking to recruit an experienced Complementary Therapist to provide Treatments using their trained and qualified expertise. You will provide Complementary Therapy treatments within the service to service users and all members of the family, in line with the principles of integrated medicine as well as coordinating and managing Complementary Therapy volunteers within the ServiceThis role is for 2 x 7.5 hour days each week on a Wednesday and FridayAbout youThis is an opportunity to use your skills to support people at a difficult time, while developing your experience within a palliative healthcare environment, you will have:A recognised accredited qualification relevant to your therapy, for example ITEC, VTEC, university diploma.Registered with a relevant professional body and fully insured.
