- Provide strategic leadership to cross-functional engineering teams across multiple locations.
- Champion enterprise-wide Continuous Improvement (CI) using Lean Six Sigma principles (Black Belt certification essential).
- Lead the delivery of high-value, technically complex engineering projects within agreed timelines and budgets.
- Align engineering activities with long-term business goals, focusing on efficiency, reliability, and innovation.
- Cultivate a high-performance culture based on accountability, capability development, and operational excellence.
- Drive improvements in Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) through TPM and structured maintenance programs.
- Implement Autonomous Maintenance (AM) and Preventive Maintenance (PM) to increase equipment uptime and reliability.
- Optimise production line performance using SMED and standardised changeover procedures.
- Develop and deliver investment strategies for equipment refurbishment, facility expansion, and new production lines.
- Ensure compliance with all Health, Safety, Environmental (HSE), and ATEX regulations.
- Lead a transformation in reactive maintenance through root cause analysis and a Right First Time (RFT) approach.
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (essential and non-negotiable).
- Strong track record of success in senior engineering leadership within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience delivering large-scale, complex projects and capital investment programmes.
- Deep knowledge of Continuous Improvement methodologies, TPM, and Lean manufacturing principles.
- Confident leader with the ability to inspire, coach, and develop high-performing technical teams.
- Strategic thinker with hands-on capability and strong project execution skills.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience working in regulated environments with ATEX compliance is highly desirable.
