What you will do:
  • Provide a comprehensive Social Work service to adults and their carers across the Stockton Borough within the First Contact Team.
  • Support the triage of Adult Safeguarding Referrals into the council and make decisions on alerts/concerns, referring to the Adult Safeguarding Team as necessary.
  • Engage effectively with adults and their families to address complex queries and referrals, ensuring decisions are well-documented and based on legislation and guidance.
  • Work collaboratively with the First Contact Team in the office while also having the flexibility to work remotely once trained.
