£12phOur Client, a Rosette standard busy gastro pub with rooms, are currently recruiting for an experienced Bar Manager. Because of its location a driver is required although there is live in also available if needed.The Role:Plan, direct and oversee all bar operations including managing staff, ensuring product and service standards are met and implementing and maintaining procedures for maximum operating efficiency
Run the bar independently
Take care of the bar, stock room and cellar
The candidate must have excellent knowledge of fine wines and cocktails
Assess development needs, train and coach staff
Delegate duties and tasks to staff to meet objectives and maximise resources
Oversee the preparation and presentation of beverages to meet set standards
Set and monitor quality and service standards for staff
Organise and adjust staff rotas and schedules in accordance with available resources and labour regulations
Resolve customer complaints promptly
Monitor cleanliness and hygiene of bar area
