- Define and manage inverter system-level requirements across performance, interfaces, and safety boundaries
- Develop functional and technical architecture integrating hardware, software, and vehicle systems
- Coordinate cross-functional design reviews and ensure end-to-end traceability through development and validation
- Support integration testing, performance verification, and root cause analysis within the V-model lifecycle
- Lead safety lifecycle activities aligned to ISO 26262:2018, including system-level safety planning
- Conduct and document key safety analyses: HARA, FMEA, FTA, FMEDA
- Define ASIL requirements, safety goals, and technical safety concepts for inverter platforms
- Collaborate with HW/SW teams to implement and verify safety mechanisms and diagnostics
- Prepare safety case documentation and support OEM safety sign-off milestones
- Act as lead technical representative for inverter system and safety topics across internal and external stakeholders
- Guide junior engineers and promote best practices in safety-led systems engineering
- Liaise with OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and certification bodies to ensure compliance and integration
- Experience in automotive systems engineering with a focus on inverter development
- Functional Safety experience, ideally on power electronics and inverter systems
- Expertise in ISO 26262 and ASPICE-compliant processes
- Proficient with safety tools: DOORS, Polarion, Medini, PTC Integrity, or equivalent
- Familiarity with high-voltage EV architectures and powertrain integration strategies
- Experience with CAN, LIN, diagnostic protocols, and model-based design
- Awareness of cybersecurity (ISO/SAE 21434) and its application to inverter systems
- Strong leadership, analytical, and technical documentation skills
