MET TECHNICIAN - STRIP/FITTER - £16.00 - £17.00 PER HOURLocation: Peterborough
Pay: £16.00 - £17.00 per hour
Shifts: Monday to Friday
Hours (Day shift) : 06:00 AM - 15:30 PM (£16.00 per hour)
Hours (Back shift) : 15:00 PM - 01:00 AM (Monday - Thursday) and 15:00 PM - 20:00 PM (Friday) (£17.00 per hour)NOTE: You must have previous experience to be considered for this role.THE JOBWe need an experienced Strip/Fitte (MET Technician) to join a busy bodyshop in Peterborough. This is a full-time, permanent position with good pay and regular hours.WHAT WE OFFER

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
  • Stripping and refitting bodywork panels and components
  • Installing new parts and prepping vehicles for bodyshop work
  • Working to quality standards and efficiency targets
  • Keeping your bay and tools tidy and maintained
  • Supporting your team and helping ensure smooth workflow
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
  • Either a relevant MET qualification or at least 2 years’ hands-on experience
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Confidence reading and following written instructions
  • Good planning, time management and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and pride in your work
  • Strong work ethic and a team-first mindset
