Job Category: ManufacturingJob Description:Our factory-based Production Operators working within the Powders department carry out all manufacturing duties required for the completion of our flavour products; in accordance with quality procedures, food hygiene, and good Manufacturing Practices & Health & Safety standards. Operation is 24 hours, 5 days a week. The operators are required to work a 3-shift pattern: rotating weekly across a night, late and early shift.Week 1 Monday to Friday - 6 AM to 2 PM (early shift)Week 2 Monday to Friday - 2 PM to 10 PM (late shift)Week 3 Sunday to Thursday - 10 PM to 6 AM (night shift)Shift premiums are paid accordingly.What you'll do:
  • Follow and maintain inspection systems, procedures & schedules to ensure that the highest standards of housekeeping, product quality and safety are maintained.
  • Monitor production processes and methods, propose improvements and highlight to Shift Leader problem formulations for modification that cause production difficulties.
  • Perform routine cycle counts, maintain stock location accuracy and enforce good stock management practices.
  • Liaise with Quality Control to complete product adjustment to meet specification.
  • Assist maintenance technicians in performing maintenance and repair.
  • Observe the Company Safety and Environment policies to provide a healthy and safe working environment for all on site.
What you'll bring:
  • 3 GCSE Qualifications A-C grade or equivalent.
  • Ideally knowledge of GMP and food hygiene systems/procedures COSHH & HACCP
