A welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Levenshulme is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join their team from September.In this role, you will work closely with students with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), providing tailored support in and out of the classroom to help them access the curriculum, develop independence, and thrive academically and socially.Key Responsibilities:Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with EHCPsAssist teachers in adapting resources and strategies to meet individual needsFoster positive relationships with students to build confidence and motivationMonitor progress and contribute to review meetings and reportsPromote inclusion and a positive learning environment across the schoolRequirements:Previous experience working with children or young people, ideally in an educational or care settingA patient, compassionate and flexible approachGood communication and teamwork skillsA strong understanding of SEND and inclusive education (desirable)This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people while gaining valuable experience in a supportive and forward-thinking school.To apply or find out more, please get in touch today.
