Members of this department are expected to fit into the firm's culture and be committed to providing a high quality of service to our customers.Role OverviewThe Specialist, Legal Products will support the Legal Products team with:Updates and maintenance of Knowledge Bank (SharePoint), Legatics, Monday.com, Contract Companion and Jigsaw Supporting with new product releases and enhancement requestsUser support during product pilotsNew legal product analysis / evaluationSupport our network of Knowledge lawyers with training and ad-hoc requestsSystem training for new traineesSupporting migration projects to Cloud platformsSupport for existing and upcoming AI trialsKey Responsibilities / AccountabilitiesDevelop a subject matter expert level of understanding across the suite of legal products the team supportsWork closely with our vendors to ensure that systems remain up to date, stable and are taking advantage of the latest featuresProvide system demonstrations and training to lawyers on the suite of Legal ProductsRespond and action requests to the Legal Products Support inbox.Maintain and update user guidesMonitor system usage and provide regular reporting to the Senior Manager, Legal ProductsParticipate in the review and assessment of new technologiesActively promote our suite of Legal Products to our network of Knowledge Lawyers to help increase adoption and increase the efficiency and effectiveness of our client offeringAssist in the pilot and rollout of Microsoft CopilotWork with the team to test new software features and upgrades as they become availableAttend and support internal legal tech events to promote the Legal Products the team supportsSpecific duties or responsibilities may be reviewed from time to time to reflect changes in personnel and management structure, staff location or services.All members of the firm participate in our Responsible Business program.Person SpecificationSkills and ExperienceAdvanced skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePointSelf-management and excellent organisation skillsExcellent communication, presentation, and documentation skillsExperience of building relationships with internal stakeholdersExperience with knowledge systems in a legal or professional services environment desirableExperience working in the legal sectorExperience working with new and emerging technologies such as AI desirableGeneral AttributesAble to demonstrate the ability to learn new concepts and new productsAble to demonstrate an understanding of the construction of modern software products e.g. Front-end, Database, Cloud etc.)Have an interest in the future direction of legal technology systems and technology in generalAbility to troubleshoot and solve issuesDelivery and deadline focusedExcellent attention to detail and delivery of high quality workHighly effective as part of a wider teamA self-starter with a proactive approach to work, planning workload and solving client requirementsAn ability to identify, interpret and manage stakeholder requests and expectationsAgile Working StatementOur goal is to embed flexibility across our business by giving everyone the opportunity to work in an agile way, whether as a regular pattern or on an ad hoc basis, and we will be happy to discuss this further.Equal Opportunities Employment StatementIt is the policy of Hogan Lovells to provide equal opportunities for all employees in relation to recruitment, training and promotion.
