Working: Hybrid - 3 days on siteOur ClientWe are supporting a client seeking skilled building surveyors across multiple seniorities to join their multi-disciplinary teams. The organisation delivers a full range of building surveying services on a variety of projects across public and private sectors.
These roles offer the opportunity to work on varied projects, from refurbishment and extension schemes to larger multi-disciplinary developments. Candidates will benefit from a collaborative working environment and opportunities for professional growth and development within building surveying.Key Responsibilities
- Conduct condition and measured building surveys, defect analysis, and prepare professional reports and specifications
- Manage project delivery including pre and post contract administration duties
- Lead or support design and implementation of small to medium scale projects
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver building surveying projects
- Maintain and develop client relationships across projects
- Provide mentoring and support to junior surveyors for senior positions
- Contribute to business development activities, including bids and proposals for senior roles
- Proven all-round building surveying experience appropriate to role seniority
- Experience in project management and contract administration, including pre and post contract duties
- Track record in delivering refurbishment, extension, and multi-disciplinary projects
- Client-facing experience with the ability to maintain strong professional relationships
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit advantageous, and BIM awareness for senior roles
- Knowledge of CDM regulations, Health and Safety requirements, and standard building contracts including JCT and NEC
- BSc (Hon's) in Building Surveying or similar RICS accredited degree
- MRICS membership required for senior positions; working towards chartered status acceptable for junior roles
- Professional understanding of building surveying principles, project management, and design delivery
