With an award-winning portfolio enjoyed in over 160 countries, this is your chance to be part of a company that champions heritage, innovation, and conviviality.As a Tax Accountant, you'll work closely with the Tax Manager and wider finance team to support the Group's corporate tax compliance, reporting and advisory responsibilities. This is a varied role with the opportunity to get involved in areas such as employment tax, transfer pricing, and plastic packaging tax, with full training provided where required.Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare UK corporate tax returns and supporting analyses
  • Deliver tax computations, current and deferred tax notes for statutory accounts
  • Prepare IFRS tax reporting for group consolidation
  • Support with PAYE Settlement Agreements and Corporate Interest Restriction returns
  • Assist with quarterly plastic packaging tax returns
  • Contribute to tax governance, transfer pricing documentation, and process improvement
  • Provide internal advisory support on UK tax matters
What We're Looking For:
  • A professional accounting/tax qualification or significant relevant experience
  • Strong corporation tax and tax accounting knowledge (practice or industry)
  • Familiarity with tax software (e.g., Alphatax) and Excel proficiency
  • A collaborative mindset and excellent communication skills
