We are seeking an experienced Highways Lighting Design Engineer to join their team on a high-profile, long-term programme shaping the UK's road infrastructure.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare technical reports, feasibility studies, designs, specifications, and contract documentsCarry out daytime and night-time surveysSupport the production of Environmental Impact Assessments, Economic Assessments, and Business CasesLiaise with clients, electricity suppliers, contractors, professional bodies, sub-consultants, and design teamsKey RequirementsExperience designing to British lighting/electrical standards (BS5489, BS EN 13201, BS 7671)Knowledge of trunk and local road lighting requirementsStrong technical report writing skillsProficiency in lighting design software (Lighting Reality, Dialux, or similar)Proficiency in electrical design calculation software (Trimble, Castline, or similar)If you are ready to bring your expertise to a major national infrastructure programme, we would be pleased to hear from you.To apply, please contact Morson Talent today.
