Role: Night Porter – Temporary
Location: Birmingham
Salary / Rate of pay: From £13.68 per hourPlatinum Recruitment is working in partnership with a hotel in the Birmingham area and seeking a temporary Night Porter to join their team on an immediate basis, starting this week on a part-time basis!What’s in it for you when doing temporary work?
  • Set hours each week
  • Meals provided while on duty.
  • MUST be local as no accommodation can be provided
  • Hours from 9.30pm to 7.00am
What’s involved as a Night Porter?
  • Perform night audit, ensuring all procedures are completed to the required standards.
  • Handling enquiries effectively and efficiently.
  • Ensuring company policies and audit procedures are strictly adhered to.
  • Ensuring security of the hotel and fire & safety procedures.
  • Taking calls and reservations, and other front office duties
  • Completing general reception duties
  • Cleaning of conference rooms, and public areas (no toilets), light duties
  • Preparing and serving room service when necessary
  • Assisting in the bar, serving drinks, etc., as and when required
Requirements:
  • Flexibility to work on weekends and shifts
  • Friendly, enthusiastic attitude.
  • Ability to work in the UK.
  • Opera PMS essential or Cloud would be advantageous
