Job Title: Maintenance ElectricianSalary: £32,000Location: LeedsWorking Hours: 40 hours per weekAre you an outgoing Electrician looking for a new and exciting opportunity? Are you looking for a national FM company which offers career development and upskilling?Randstad Solutions are currently working with a Facilities Management organisation, who are seeking an qualified, time served Electrician who has experience in the commercial/mechanical sector, to carry out all areas of planned and reactive maintenance. This is a full time and permanent opportunity, working on a static site in Leeds.Package includes:

Main duties will include:
  • Electrical/mechanical PPMs and reactive maintenance.
  • Complete all relevant paperwork and CAFM documentation for PPM, reactive, and breakdown works, ensuring timely submission to the contract administrator.
  • Prepare and utilise Method Statements and Risk Assessments for all tasks to ensure safe working practices.
  • Cultivate positive relationships with staff, subcontractors, and client representatives.
  • Ensure a Safe and Healthy working environment, including adherence to uniform and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements.
  • Keep up-to-date plant logs at all times.
  • Supervise and monitor subcontractors' maintenance activities on site.
  • Adhere to contractual Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Maintain the CAFM system, ensuring accurate closure of PPM and reactive tickets with captured data.
  • Operate a Permit to Work System in line with Technical and Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) processes, or client-specific requirements.
  • Undertake any other tasks directed by the account management team.
  • Provide engineering support in emergency situations to ensure business and operational continuity.
  • Obtain Technical Appointments as required (e.g., LVCP/LVAP/HVAP) and issue Permits to Work to subcontractors and Equans staff.
The ideal candidate must have the following:
  • 18th Edition
  • NVQ/City and Guilds
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Experience working within a Facilities Management environment
