This contract position offers hybrid working, though you will be required to work onsite at least three days a week.Key Responsibilities:
Providing support and general programming and planning assistance to Project Managers and Project Team members to ensure effective project planning
Identifying risks for all assigned projects, offering mitigation plans, and escalating issues within the Project Team
Ensuring accurate progress is recorded within each programme update by collaborating with Project Teams
Attending and contributing to regular Project Progress Meetings to keep the Project Team informed of performance
Implementing planning and project control processes, performing quality reviews to maintain high standards
Working with Project Managers and Quantity Surveyors to establish reporting requirements, including Earned Value Analysis (EVA)
Understanding contractual requirements and ensuring all planning requirements are met in collaboration with the commercial team
Contributing to the development of EPDS and planning processes for improved efficiency and consistency
Maintaining and analysing summary statistics for business reporting and audits
Performing regular quality reviews of project programmes to ensure precision and compliance
Job Requirements:
Significant experience in project planning within the M&E sector, preferably in major infrastructure projects
Expertise in project planning and control procedures
Proven track record in the effective management of NEC contracts, with knowledge of NEC3 and NEC4 forms
Practical appreciation of Mechanical, Electrical, Public Health, Fire, and Communication systems
Advanced Excel skills, particularly in cost analysis, developing S-curves, and conducting earned value analysis
Proficiency in Primavera P6 scheduling software
Strong organisational and team working skills, with the ability to mentor and develop junior planners
Experience in risk management and project execution
