Support WorkerSupport Worker, Supported Independence£12.60 per hour (Real Living Wage!) with enhancements for Sundays and Bank Holidays.Permanent & Part-Time contracts are available.25 to 35 hours per week, plus the potential for overtime. A mixture of shifts covering morning, evening, daytime, and weekend. All while Working in the community and people's own home. We work alongside people with learning disabilities, autistic people, and anyone else with a social care need from the age of 13 into their elder years.About the roleAs a Support Worker, your key responsibilities will include:Support individuals to live independently and complete everyday activities, giving them the tools and confidence they need for a fulfilling life. All whilst doing this within someone's own home and out in the community.Proactively advocating for the individuals we support and their families, ensuring their voices are heard and needs are met.Provide compassionate, dignified personal care tailored to each individual's needs.Here's an improved version of your statement incorporating the elements of good communication, office support, and customer support:Fostering effective communication and building a strong rapport with each individual by ensuring consistent updates from the office, providing a supportive environment for both the team and the customer, and addressing their needs proactively throughout their support.Ensuring the safe and accurate administration of medication.A support worker takes care of the whole person, not just their medical needs. They help with things like bathing and dressing, but they also focus on the person's emotional and mental well-being. They might chat with them, help them with hobbies, or just provide companionship.
