Vetting Level: BOpportunity OverviewA leading multi-disciplinary consultancy is seeking a Civil Engineer to join its growing national Building Design team. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a variety of high-profile design and construction projects across the UK and overseas.This is a flexible role that can be based in any regional office, with hybrid working options available. The role is suited for a motivated civil engineer who is eager to expand their experience across infrastructure, drainage, utilities, and structural design within the built environment. This role falls INSIDE IR35.Key Responsibilities·Delivering small to medium-sized infrastructure projects as part of a design team
·Producing high-quality, compliant designs aligned with current codes and standards
·Managing workload effectively and collaborating within multidisciplinary teams
·Ensuring compliance with quality assurance and BIM processes
·Contributing to innovative digital engineering solutionsEssential Requirements·Degree in Civil Engineering (preferred), or HND with equivalent experience
·Actively working towards chartership with the ICE
·Experience in drainage, utilities, earthworks, pavement design, and construction logistics
·Strong knowledge of UK design standards
·Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D (experience with Revit/BIM 360 is a plus)
·Effective verbal and written communication skills
·Ability to work independently and collaboratively
·A practical, problem-solving mindset with a proactive approachDesirable·Driving licence
