Job Title: Warehouse OperativeLocation: Sandwich, Kent (must drive due to location)Salary: £12.30 - £14.000 (dependant on experience)Hours: 5 out of 7, rotating between 6.30am - 5.00pm and 9.00am - 7.30pmOur Client:Role Summary:As a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for efficiently handling incoming and outgoing stock, ensuring accurate stock levels and maintaining a clean and organised warehouse environment.Benefits:

Key responsibilities within your new role would be to:
  • Receive, unload and store incoming stock.
  • Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Perform quality control checks on incoming and outgoing products.
  • Maintain accurate stock records using computerised systems.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and health and safety regulations.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely.
  • Keep the warehouse clean and organised.
  • Assist with regular stock takes and inventory counts.
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
Experience and skills required for this position:
  • Proven experience as a Warehouse Operative.
  • Flexibility to work 5 out of 7 rotating between early and late shifts.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and work on your feet for extended periods.
  • Good communication skills and a team player attitude.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and stock control.
  • Forklift licence (desirable but not essential).
