This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly ranked and recognised construction disputes team within a global dispute resolution practice. The team's expertise spans litigation, international arbitration, and dispute board proceedings across a range of sectors, including water, transport, heavy engineering, manufacturing, oil & gas, nuclear, and renewable energy. They regularly advise on some of the largest and most complex infrastructure and energy disputes in the UK and internationally. The team has a strong, collaborative culture and comprises multiple partners and a deep bench of senior lawyers.You can expect to work on:
  • Acting for major contractors on delay and variation claims relating to offshore wind farm developments in Europe and North America
  • Advising a major airport operator on claims arising from a runway construction project
  • Representing a global equipment manufacturer in international arbitrations concerning gas and power generation facilities
  • Advising public and private sector stakeholders on complex PFI/PPP disputes involving construction defects and facilities management obligations
  • Supporting energy clients in resolving high-stakes claims relating to nuclear and renewable energy infrastructure
  • Advising infrastructure clients on disputes arising from engineering design issues, professional negligence, and equipment performance
What we are looking for:
  • England & Wales qualified solicitor with 3-5 years' post-qualification experience
  • Background in UK and international construction disputes
  • Experience with PPP / PFI-related disputes is advantageous but not essential
  • Strong technical ability and commercial awareness
  • Experience gained at a top-tier international or well-regarded regional firm
  • The right to work and live in the United Kingdom
