- Reliability Engineer / Data Analyst within the Engineering Department at Plaistow
- Developing and managing of packing and processing equipment asset care strategy at Plaistow
- Managing capital projects up to £500K
- Increased plant reliability measured by %downtime, %reactive work, lost opportunity and maintenance cost
- Reduction in the number of repeat plant failures, demonstrated by regular SAP / PBI data analysis
- Review critical asset spares and maintenance regimes
- Development and analysis of reliability KPI’s
- Investigate asset failures using RCA techniques
- Administer and review SAP maintenance system for budgeting, historical trend and reliability analysis
- Provide analytical reports to Management
- Ownership of %planned maintenance, PM compliance, PM effectiveness, PdM compliance and % downtime KPI’s
- Improve reliability and engineering uptime through the implementation of best practice maintenance principles.
- Creating and updating Planned Preventative and Predicative Maintenance routines derived from FMECA to achieve %downtime KPI
- Develop and maintain 365 maintenance plans and link the interface between Planning, Operations and Engineering
- Developing and maintaining overhaul schedule within SAP for packing and processing equipment
- Routinely auditing of planned maintenance content and adherence; review PM frequency to incorporate cycle time intervals derived by objective reliability data
- SAP data input training for engineering to ensure standard working
- Develop and lead capital projects utilitising both internal and contractor resources to provide value for money plant improvements resulting in less downtime and a more efficient process
- Facilitate lineside RCA investigations and support to sustain a culture of problem solving and continuous improvement
- Develop and maintain maintenance work instructions (written and video) to develop and sustain standard work
- Support Engineering Manager to implement and sustain ASR Global Engineering Standards at Plaistow Wharf
- Support Area Maintenance Supervisors effectively plan corrective maintenance orders
- Control of Plaistow Engineering stock and repairable spares
- Managing contractors and issuing permits and TBRA’s
- Develop and manage contractor spend reduction roadmap
- Deputise Engineering Department Manager
- Other tasks as required

- Plaistow Wharf based with occasional work at Thames Refinery.
- HNC/NVQ 4 or higher in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills

- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PPT, Excel, Word)
- Ability to speak with a high level of professionalism and presence to individuals or groups at all levels within the organization
- Ability to anticipate problems before they occur to eliminate or mitigate issues
- Good written skills and ability to provide documentation
