- Lead the development of mechanical design plans, schemes, and technical packs.
- Review, approve, and mentor on designs, calculations, and reports.
- Chair design reviews with both internal stakeholders and customers.
- Manage project resources, budgets, and timelines to ensure on-time delivery.
- Drive team performance and professional development, including appraisals and career planning.
- Ensure all engineering outputs meet quality, compliance, and governance standards.
- Degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering.
- A proven track record of product development from concept through to manufacture.
- Strong team leadership and/or project management experience.
- Bonus skills: CAD (CREO preferred), TeamCenter, JIRA, DOORs; experience in composites, mechatronics, optical displays, additive manufacturing, or test & measurement equipment.
