The College Administrator will provide essential administrative support within a not-for-profit educational environment, ensuring smooth operations and effective communication. This temporary role is based in London and requires excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the college's academic and support staff.
  • Ensure smooth coordination of meetings, events, and workshops, including logistics and materials preparation.
  • To manage incoming communications for the Executive team members, including drafting responses and redirecting to relevant colleagues, as appropriate.
  • To manage diaries for the Executive team members, coordinating activities, events, and meetings.
  • To provide clerical support to Executive committees and meetings, including preparing papers and agenda, invitations, minuting meetings, archiving documents, and following up on pending actions
  • Support the department in compiling reports and maintaining compliance with internal policies.
  • Handle general office tasks, including filing, data entry, and supply management.
  • Act as the first point of contact for visitors and enquiries, providing a welcoming and professional service.

  • Previous experience in a similar administrative role, preferably within education or the not-for-profit sector.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, and Outlook.
  • Demonstrable experience in committee servicing, taking accurate minutes with attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional approach.
  • A proactive attitude and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy.
