
Head of Ecommerce (Maternity Cover)

- Owning the ecommerce P&L; delivering profit while enhancing the website in line with industry developments
- Driving the ecommerce roadmap and leading projects, reporting on status and performance post-launch
- Leading and growing the ecommerce team (including digital marketing, trading, content, CRM, photography, and customer service)
- Ensuring cross-departmental collaboration across the business, aligning goals and initiatives
- Analysing trading reports, identifying trends and leading regular trade meetings
- Driving on-site merchandising, promotional planning and conversion rate optimisation
- Ensuring product launches align with campaigns and sales targets
- Identifying opportunities for growth and presenting findings to the Senior Management Team
- Working closely with the digital marketing team to optimise ROI across paid media, SEO, email and affiliate channels
- Ensuring all campaigns are data-driven and aligned with commercial objectives
- Managing digital marketing spend, maintaining agility around reforecasts, performance by channel and brand activity
- Leading the CRM strategy, focusing on both customer acquisition and retention, ensuring a clear understanding of the customer, who remains central to all business decision-making stages
- Championing a premium, seamless and user-centric experience across all digital platforms, with a strong focus on mobile
- Leading continuous improvements in site functionality, design and performance in collaboration with IT and Brand teams
- Reporting on content performance and overseeing regular updates in line with campaigns, considering trade performance by territory and A/B testing where applicable
- Managing the external ecommerce photography studio, using data to enhance visual assets and aligning with Brand and Design teams on brand image
- Leading the CRM strategy, balancing new customer acquisition with retention, ensuring an in-depth understanding of the customer informs all business initiatives
- Managing the internal customer service team, delivering best-in-class service across all channels
- Elevating the overall customer experience in line with evolving industry standards
- Significant experience in ecommerce (luxury and/or fashion preferred)
- Proven success in a senior ecommerce leadership role
- Strong commercial acumen and experience managing a P&L
- Excellent knowledge of ecommerce, UK and digital marketing best practices
- Experience with eCommerce platforms (e.g. Shopify Plus, Voyado, Content Square, Netsuite, Nosto preferred)
