This role focuses on the organizational and logistical aspects of IT, rather than hands-on technical support. The Non-Technical IT Administrator acts as a liaison between the IT team and other departments, ensuring that IT resources are managed effectively and aligned with business needs.ProfileAdministrative Support:
- Manage IT-related documentation, including contracts, licenses, and inventory records.
- Coordinate meetings, schedule appointments, and manage calendars for the IT department.
- Prepare and process purchase orders, invoices, and expense reports.
- Maintain and update IT department databases and records.
- Assist with the onboarding and offboarding of IT staff and contractors.
- Assist in the planning and coordination of IT projects.
- Track project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Communicate project updates to stakeholders.
- Assist in the preparation of project reports and presentations.
- Help with the logistical side of hardware and software rollouts
- Act as a point of contact for IT vendors and suppliers.
- Manage vendor contracts and agreements.
- Track vendor performance and ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).
- Assist in the evaluation and selection of new vendors.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of IT hardware and software assets.
- Track asset lifecycle and manage asset disposal.
- Ensure compliance with software licensing agreements.
