We reserve the right to close this position early if a suitable candidate is found before the closing date, therefore early application is recommended.ABOUT THE ROLEWe are seeking a Consultant level (2+ years prof experience or PhD) candidate who can deliver our broad range of energy consulting commissions, with a particular interest in candidates with a highly technical background and a capability for modelling.The ideal candidate will have an academic background in a highly quantitative degree (e.g. engineering, physics), energy systems expertise, and modelling skills (spreadsheet and code). Whilst the preference is for candidates with professional experience, those coming straight from a (relevant) PhD will be considered.You will contribute to the delivery of projects via the production of models and undertaking of analysis. Whilst a key requirement of this role is technical proficiency, we also have an expectation that you will contribute to common consultancy non-technical tasks such as bid writing, stakeholder engagement and qualitative research – we are a small consultancy, so we all wear many hats.
