Not to worry - Home Instead Hemel Hempstead and Chilterns are looking for dedicated, reliable and honest people with a kind nature and will provide full training!Job DescriptionYour responsibilities as a Care Assistant include but are not restricted to:
  • Stimulate and encourage through a variety of activities (for example clothing selection, hobbies and crafts.)
  • Providing emotional support and companionship
  • Assisting clients with personal care tasks such as grooming, dressing, and bathing
  • Supporting clients with mobility
  • Helping with daily activities such as meal preparation and medication reminders
  • Running errands such as food shopping and collecting prescriptions
  • Performing light house keeping tasks (dusting, vacuuming, making beds, changing linens, cleaning bathrooms/kitchens, washing and ironing taking out rubbish, caring for house plants etc.)
  • Each client visit will last no less than 1 hour.
