Job Description :We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to take ownership of electrical infrastructure projects from inception through to completion and handover. You will be responsible for ensuring all projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget, while maintaining high-quality standards and strong stakeholder relationships.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning – Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation.Team Leadership – Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, fostering effective collaboration between engineers, designers, contractors, and stakeholders.Budget Management – Prepare, monitor, and control project budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring financial objectives are achieved.Scheduling – Create and manage project schedules, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met.Quality Assurance – Implement quality control processes to meet industry standards and client expectations.Regulatory Compliance – Ensure all works comply with relevant industry regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies.Risk Management – Identify potential risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.Stakeholder Engagement – Act as the primary point of contact for clients, partners, and regulatory bodies, providing regular updates.Problem Solving – Address and resolve issues during the project lifecycle to minimise delays.Documentation – Maintain accurate project records, contracts, reports, and correspondence.Post-Project Review – Evaluate project outcomes to identify successes and areas for improvement.Onsite Support – Provide hands-on support where required, as directed by senior leadership.RequirementsPerson SpecificationEssential:ONC/OND or degree in Project Management, Building, Engineering, or Architecture (or equivalent).Proven track record of delivering ICP/HV/LV electrical infrastructure projects from start to finish.Strong knowledge of the DNO/ICP delivery process and project lifecycles.Competence with project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.Excellent communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills.Full UK driving licence.Desirable:Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.Project Management qualification (e.g., PRINCE2).Knowledge of NEC3 contracts and/or ICP works.Safety training (IOSH, SMSTS, or NEBOSH).
