Maintenance Engineer – Mechanical & ElectricalLocation: Salisbury
Salary: £45,000 – £52,000 DOE + excellent benefits

You’ll work across planned preventative maintenance, urgent breakdowns, and improvement projects, covering a wide range of systems including hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, and automated machinery. This is an excellent opening for a Maintenance Engineer who enjoys problem solving and thrives in a fast-paced environment.Benefits include 5.5 weeks’ annual leave plus bank holidays, a generous pension scheme, Employee Assistance Programme (EAP), Free on-site parkingWhat you’ll be doing:Carry out both planned and reactive maintenance on mechanical and electrical systemsEnsure production reliability by responding quickly to breakdowns and faultsPerform calibration checks and portable appliance testing (PAT)Support process improvements, machinery upgrades, and new equipment installationsIdentify and recommend improvements to plant, machinery, and systems to boost safety, quality, and efficiencyWork safely at all times, adhering to health, safety, and environmental standardsWe'd ideally like you to have the following experience but can be flexible depending on industry experience:Time-served apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering with a Level 3 Electrical qualificationProven experience in electrical and/or mechanical maintenanceStrong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, inverters, and PLCsExperience in automated process environments desirableFamiliarity with PAT testing, LOLER, and functional safety standards is an advantageWorking shift pattern for this role is a 28-day cycle – 4 on, 5 off, 5 on, 4 off, 5 on, 5 off (rotating between days and nights)Apply today with your CV to take the next step in your career or give Lynne a call for more details on 01722 334433
